Serving the locals and visitors of Beaufort for over 20 years, the Outer Banks Ferry Service continues to provide excellent transportation to the local islands.

'Captain Cuda' or 'Captain Barrowcuda', also known as Master Captain Perry Barrow, is a native born local of Morehead City, NC.
Captain Cuda started his ferry operation with a single boat offering passage to Shackleford Banks. To date, Captain Cuda and his Master Captains continue to provide safe passage to hundreds of passengers year round.

Captain Bob, owner of Waterbug Tours, provides scenic harbor tours within the Rachel Carson Reserve and the historic Beaufort waterfront.  For over 10 years, this narrated history and nature cruise offers a "Beaufort 101" course to learn a little history, see a bit of nature and have a lot of fun.
